November is a busy month at Swords to Plowshares - Veterans Day provides us with so many moments to get out into the community and come together with veterans and their supporters. Here, we've consolidated some of the activities on our calendar.
- Friday, November 6th from 4pm-6pm: Swords to Plowshares' East Bay Veterans Day Celebration
- Where: Oakland Veterans Memorial Building, 200 Grand Ave. Oakland, CA
- What: Part resource fair, part party for veterans and their supporters! It's a time to come together in the East Bay, enjoy a meal, and hear from local leaders. We're excited to welcome Congresswoman Lateefah Simon this year.
- RSVP: East Bay Veterans Day Celebration
- Sunday, November 8th from 9:00am-11:00am: GLIDE Church's Sunday Celebration
- Where: GLIDE Church, 330 Ellis St. San Francisco, CA
- What: For decades, GLIDE Church has honored San Franciscans who served in the military on the Sunday before Veterans Day. This year, the service will include perspectives from transgender veterans.
- Monday, November 9th from 1pm-3pm: Swords to Plowshares' Salute to You Party
- Where: Michael Blecker Veterans Center, 1060 Howard St. San Francisco, CA
- What: A party for veterans! Enjoy food, connect with peers, and take dedicated time to observe Veterans Day among community.
- Tuesday, November 10th from 6pm-10pm: Swords to Plowshares' 30th Annual Veterans Day Celebration (tickets required)
- Where: Julia Morgan Ballroom, 465 California St. San Francisco, CA
- What: Swords' biggest fundraising event of the year, the tradition brings together our top supporters, veterans, and advocates to celebrate our mission and honor those who've served.

- Wednesday, November 11th at 11am: Veterans Day Service at the Presidio Chapel
- Where: Presidio Chapel, 130 Fisher Loop, San Francisco, CA
- What: Another tradition hosted by the Interfaith Center of the Presidio - Michael Blecker will be speaking at their service dedicated to honoring veterans on the actual holiday.
