...I'm a 24-year veteran whose career included a year in Vietnam. As such, I feel a special empathy for other veterans who have served in any of our armed forces, but did not come out of that time of their lives as well as I did. I've seen a few of them, and it hurts to know there is such suffering among our veterans."

...of my father, who served in Vietnam in 1967 in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was drafted when he was 19 years old, and his experience had a significant impact on his life & his health. Seeing those effects, and listening to his stories about his time served, has instilled in me a great appreciation for the sacrifice he and so many others have made. I'm humbled & proud to carry on his legacy and support veterans in any way I can."
