We are here for veterans as updates continue to come in and push decisionmakers to consider the long-term consequences of war.

On September 8th, the Archdiocese of San Francisco hosted its highly anticipated 11th Annual Reentry Conference and Resource Fair. The annual gathering brought together hundreds of individuals and organizations from across the Bay Area to delve into the latest concerns, opportunities, and advancements concerning justice-involved and crime-affected individuals and their families.
This year, Jobs for Vets participated in the conference's job and career session. Organized by Goodwill SF Bay and the Success Centers, this session invited job seekers to connect with us and over 40 second-chance employers seeking to fill positions. Beyond employment prospects, a wealth of resources awaited attendees, offering valuable insights and support as they took important steps towards rebuilding their lives. The Jobs for Vets team connected with participants, providing information on how veterans can benefit from our Job Readiness Workshops, and work with our employment specialists to find career and job opportunities that match their life goals and passions.
The 11th Annual Reentry Conference and Resource Fair proved to be an invaluable platform for justice-involved individuals and their allies to not only gain access to equal opportunity employment, but also to discover an array of resources essential for their journey towards rehabilitation and success.
