22nd Annual Veterans Day Dinner

We celebrate veterans who represent Profiles of Courage, our Pro Bono partner of the year, and another successful year in delivering vital services.

Thursday, January 17, 2019

5:30 PM – Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction
7:30 PM – Dinner & Awards Ceremony

The Palace Hotel

2 New Montgomery Street, San Francisco

On October 23rd we  made the difficult decision not to go ahead with hosting our Veterans Day Dinner on November 8th. We will be postponing the Dinner until January 17th, 5:30 pm at the Palace Hotel.

Our hotel is under Marriott management and workers have been on strike since early October. Management delayed negotiation meetings that were scheduled to take place October 17-19. With no progress toward a new contract, 7,000 workers took the the streets of San Francisco to protest on October 20th.  As an organization that serves primarily low-income veterans – work in lower wage and hourly positions like these hotel workers, we cannot in good conscience cross the picket line. We hope you will still join us to celebrate veterans on January 17th.
