Mike is a passionate storyteller with a long career in broadcast news and strategic communications. He is an Emmy Award winning broadcast journalist, television producer and communications consultant. He has worked for major television networks, Fortune 500 companies and leading non-profits, and currently works as a PBS NewsHour correspondent. He has covered war and the experience of servicemembers and veterans extensively. Mike is a former Marine officer who served in Vietnam and has been a very active member of the Marines' Memorial Club here in San Francisco and advisor to Swords to Plowshares for many years.
