Parking & Transit
We encourage those who can to take public transportation! If you plan to drive, free street parking is available during the week. However, you may choose to pay to park downstairs in the nearby parking garage.

• Embarcadero & Broadway (below plank): valet and self-park

• Embarcadero & Washington: self-park only

Parking Rates

• Valet parking: First 2 hours: $8.00 + $1.00 for each additional half hour (up to 5 hours)

• Self-park: First hour: $3.00 + each additional 20 min = $1.00; 12 hours = 16.00

BART

Plan your next trip on the BART train and get off on 12th Street Oakland or Lake Merritt stations to get to Jack London Square.

Ferry

The San Francisco Bay Ferry provides year-round service between Alameda Main Street or Oakland Jack London Square terminals in the East Bay and San Francisco Ferry Building or Pier 41 terminals.

Car

Jack London Square is accessible by car from all surrounding cities. Located off the 880 near the 980 interchange, drivers will exit Broadway/Downtown, continuing on 6th Street, before turning left onto Broadway.

Plank will provide a wide variety of food options – including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free – sure to please everyone.  

Games & Things to Do

Plank offers bowling, pool, and bocce. Situated along the Oakland waterfront, Jack London Square is Oakland’s only publicly accessible mixed-use waterfront and marina area that has been a well-known landmark since the mid-1800s.

Casual attire. As you know, the weather in Oakland can vary in the summer. Bring layers!
