Matthew Gregg is the Director of Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program at Swords to Plowshares, which secures permanent housing for homeless veteran families by providing temporary financial assistance for the cost of the initial move-in, in some cases, on-going rent, or in some cases, eviction prevention. Matthew originally joined Swords to Plowshares in 2013 and has served as a case manager, senior case manager, program manager, and senior program manager for the SSVF program. Matthew is a Bay Area native, growing up in Hayward, California and served in the U.S. Army from 2004-2009. Matthew earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
