In his role at Wells Fargo, Chris works with community-based organizations, local leaders, and Wells Fargo employees to address community needs through grantmaking and volunteerism. Chris also maintains a role with the U.S. Army Reserve where he leads a unit of elite trainers, known as drill sergeants. Chris' Army career spans over 17 years between Active-Duty and Reserve service and includes two deployments to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Inherent Resolve (2007-2009, 2010-2011). Chris is a former client and employee of Swords to Plowshares; he served in various roles within Swords' Housing and Employment teams. Chris also serves on the Advisory Board of Improve Your Tomorrow and the Board of Directors of White Pony Express and U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Association.
