Veterans Meet-and-Greet Event with Chevron

Swords to Plowshares has partnered with Chevron to host a meet-and-greet event in the East Bay for veterans to learn more about jobs at Chevron from employees.

Would you like to learn more about what it’s like to work at Chevron? Do you want to hear from veteran employees how they got their foot in the door at Chevron?

Swords to Plowshares has partnered with Chevron to host a meet-and-greet session in the East Bay for veterans. Veteran participants will learn more about jobs at Chevron and how Chevron supports their veteran employees. Come meet Chevron employees at a convenient East Bay location and learn about the work they do here in Northern California.

The day will also feature a lunchtime panel discussion/Q&A session for veterans to ask specific questions about the company and learn about a veteran employee’s journey to working at Chevron.

The following departments will be presenting:

  • Materials Handling at the Richmond Refinery
  • Compliance/Health and Safety
  • Business Analytics
  • Retail Station Management
  • Human Resources
  • IT
  • Health and Medical

To register for the event, please email the following to employment-event@stp-sf.org:

  • Resume (if available)
  • Which department (from the above list) you are interested in speaking with
  • Branch and dates of service
  • Phone number and email address

All candidates must provide a copy of DD214 or VA ID card to attend the event. If you need assistance with getting your DD214, please let us know in your email. We can help!

All veterans will have the opportunity to learn about Swords to Plowshares and register for the supportive services we provide.

Application window closes September 20, 2017.

It’s worth it to come out here determined to make a connection.” - Tonya Greenlee, Swords’ Outreach
