Veteran Recruitment Event for Opportunities at Facebook

Swords to Plowshares is partnering with Facebook to connect veterans at a veteran recruitment event for jobs to build smarter, more meaningful solutions.

Swords to Plowshares is partnering with Facebook to engage veterans at a veteran recruitment event. Facebook is looking to connect with bay area professionals who can move quickly and work collaboratively to build smarter, more meaningful solutions at a global scale.

They would like to invite you to attend a networking event at their Menlo Park-HQ. Come meet with some of the Facebook family and explore a variety of career opportunities.

Facebook is seeking veterans qualified to work in the following departments:

  • Community Operations**
  • IT/Helpdesk**
  • HR/Recruiting**
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Legal/Compliance

** The recruitment event will hold interviews with these departments only.

To begin the application process, please email the following to employment-event@stp-sf.org:

  • Cover letter & resume
  • Branch and dates of service
  • Location (recruitment is open to bay area veterans only)
  • State which department (from the above list) you are interested in speaking with

All candidates must be able to provide a copy of DD214, Social Security card, & valid photo ID.

All veterans qualified for Sales and Marketing and Legal/Compliance will be referred directly to Facebook’s recruiting team for review.

All veterans who pass screening will be enrolled with Swords to Plowshares Employment & Training. Our E&T team provides resume and cover letter review, mock interview assistance, and one-on-one job development.
