Each month, we help 59 new homeless and at-risk veterans clients increase their health, wellness, and stability.

Aging Veterans have complex health and social service needs


74% served were over 55 years old

353 senior veterans live in our supportive housing sites

26% of employment program clients were over 55 years old

 

Housing is critical to Stability


1350 were homeless upon entry

296 secured permanent housing *

89 others avoided eviction

*1 in ten have children

143 improved their lives at one of our stabilization housing programs

We provided 946 nights of emergency housing

401 made their home at one of our permanent supportive housing programs

 

Increasing Income is key to our mission


We help veterans get jobs, secure disability benefits & free healthcare, and manage their finances.

1,365 were living below the poverty line when they sought help

Staff and pro bono attorneys secured $16.4 million in disability benefits

118 received on-going money management

Employment program clients increased their income by 34%

70% of employment clients received assistance from other programs to increase their long-term economic stability

 

Addressing critical needs is first step to removing barriers


1,314 served were over 55 years old

49% sought help at our Health and Social Services Drop-In Center

 

Community Partners increase our impact


350 pro bono attorneys from 46 law firms & corporations volunteered to provide:
– legal assistance at 129 legal clinics
– full legal representation to 101 veterans

3,298 police, clinicians, mental health providers, educators & human resource professionals received our Combat to Community® Training
