Our Impact

With a long track record of success helping veterans to lead stable and healthy lives, Swords to Plowshares is recognized for our expert leadership and continued dedication to improving the systems of care that our veterans rely on.

In our dual role as a service provider and advocate, we understand that many service members returning from current wars need help transitioning back into society. We advocate for more effective policies at the state, local and national levels to increase access to care and improve services for all veterans and their families. In the San Francisco Bay Area, we provide comprehensive services to nearly 3,000 veterans and their families each year.
