As the Assistant Director of Fund Development and Communications, Soo Kim oversees Swords’ fundraising and cultivation events as well as corporate and individual donations while developing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns. Prior to joining Swords, Soo worked for several not-for-profit schools and museums, including the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. Soo has a BA in history from Pomona College and an MA in Art History from UC Berkeley, in addition to a master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from USF’s School of Management. When not at work, Soo enjoys gardening at her home in Marin County and attending various sporting events around the Bay Area.
