The purpose for the Veterans Mental Health Summit is to bring together organizations that serve veterans, with the goal of enhancing access to mental health services, particularly suicide prevention services, for veterans and their family members residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. This event is hosted by San Francisco VA Health Care System and Swords to Plowshares with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Focusing on access to care and suicide among these groups:

  • Veterans with “Bad Paper”
  • Older Veterans
  • LGBTQ and Women Veterans

CEUs will be offered for Psychologists and California-Licensed LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, and LEPs.

There will be a tabling area if you’d like to bring information about your organization to share.
