Join Swords to Plowshares and author Carol Wilder for a reception and reading from her latest book, Crossing the Street in Hanoi: Teaching and Learning About Vietnam.

Carol Wilder is a Professor of Media Studies at The New School in New York and a widely published author. In 2007-2008 she was a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Hanoi University in Vietnam, returning in 2011 as a Fulbright Senior Specialist. She serves on the advisory board of Swords to Plowshares.

In Vietnam the war is gone but not forgotten, reflected upon but resolved, remembered with sadness for the loss and sacrifice it exacted, acknowledged with a quiet pride.
