Give a SHOUT! Out

Thank a veteran for her service

Women are playing increasingly important roles in the military, but are still marginalized with different needs than their male peers. Give a “shout out” to thank the brave women who have served our country!

Give a SHOUT Out

SHOUT!: Art by Women Veterans was inspired by the notion that the arts encourage expression and healing. This ongoing initiative celebrates the service of the female veteran but recognizes that distinction is borne with issues specific to women. Our policies and concerns should reflect awareness to serve all veterans effectively and fairly.

Thanks to the artists and attendees who showed up for SHOUT! 2013 on May 8.

SHOUT! explores the intersections of art, community, health and healing as we address these issues.
