Swords to Plowshares hosted the 2nd annual SHOUT! Art by Women Veterans March 17 & 18, 2010 in celebration of Women’s Military History Week at Salle Pianos & Events.
The fact remains that women veterans face very real obstacles –raising children while serving, coping with PTSD and military sexual trauma, and transitioning to civilian life among other things. Swords is proud to host this special two day engagement to honor women veterans and bring together community members to collaboratively work to better serve this increasing population.
