Discuss Women Veteran Issues with Deputy Secretary Lindsey Sin
Meet the new California Deputy Secretary for Women Veterans Affairs, Lindsey Wathen Sin. She is working with the women veteran collaboratives to address the particular needs of women veterans. She is a Navy veteran and holds a BA (Magna Cum Laude) in History from Sacramento State. Deputy Secretary Sin was appointed by Governor Edmund G. Brown in November 2011.
This event highlights the contributions and needs of women veterans as women warriors, family members, caregivers, professionals and leaders. This event is meant to continue our vital conversation about how we can offer education and peer support to military women. It is also a great lead-up to the CalVet Women Veteran’s Leadership Conference in October.
