There are many ways to help and donate to Swords to Plowshares. Here are some things you can do to help veterans in need.
Goodsearch.com
Go to www.goodsearch.com and select Swords to Plowshares as the charity you want to support. Just 500 people searching four times a day will raise $7,300 in one year!
Tiny Tickets
Do you find yourself holding on to all those BART tickets with tiny amounts of money on them? You'd like to get rid of them, but it isn't natural to throw away something with monetary value. As part of the Tiny Tickets Program, BART ticket holders may donate these tickets to their favorite charitable and nonprofit organizations. Please send your Tiny Tickets to:

Donate Your Car
Do you have a car you'd like to get rid of? If so, you can donate it to Swords to Plowshares. All car donations are handled by a third party, the Volunteers of America Vehicle Donation Program. Unfortunately, not all vehicles can be accepted. If you are interested, please contact the Resource Development Department at Swords to Plowshares at (415)252-4788 or development@stp-sf.org.
Donate Clothes, Books or Kitchenware
Get rid of those old clothes and books by giving to the Community Thrift Store. If you allocate your items (using Charity Code #34) to Swords to Plowshares, we'll receive the proceeds once the item is sold. The Community Thrift Store is located at 623 Valencia, near 17th Street, in San Francisco's Mission District. Call the store ahead of time at (415)861-4910 before making a donation.
