Service the Film

Join us for a screening of the film, Service: When Women Come Marching Home. This documentary follows women who are transitioning from the military back to civilian life and the severe challenges they face. The screening is followed by a facilitated discussion by the director Marcia Rock and veteran featured in the film, Alicia Thompson.

This is a free event and open to the public. Feel free to bring your lunch to this brown bag affair!

About the featured speakers:
Marcia Rock is an independent filmmaker who has produced many documentaries on women’s issues. She is currently working in collaboration with the Disabled American Veterans to promote Service the Film.

Alicia Thompson is a featured veteran in the film. She tells her story of her experience in Afganistan and her struggle with PTSD after returning home.
