Swords is looking for veteran applicants for a certificate program at City College in the growing biotech industry. This course was designed in partnership with City College of San Francisco and Kelly Scientific.

This trains candidates for entry-level positions in the biotechnology industry for maintaining, calibrating, upgrading, validating and documenting process/control equipment and laboratory instrumentation. This also requires strong mathematical, troubleshooting, mechanical and desire to work in the field. Medical, electrical and analytical ability is strongly recommended.

Students interested in paid internship can apply in January and will be covered under CCSF’s liability.

City College will also provide counseling throughout their internship and assist with the tools to find employment. Swords will provide counseling to applicants in addition in order to support the applicant for training and job placement.

We are looking for 10 qualified applicants.
