Join us as we celebrate International Forgiveness Day. Be moved and inspired as our veterans and others affected by war share their amazing journeys to peace through forgiveness. This workshop is open and free to the public and focused on veterans healing.

Last May Swords to Plowshares teamed up with the World Forgiveness Alliance for a forgiveness workshop to help veterans. The workshop was intended to help veterans heal from the wounds of war by taking ownership and power over their traumatic experience. This year’s workshop continues this ongoing project.

Dr. Fred Luskin leads this forgiveness healing seminar based upon his extensive experience in this field as the leading researcher on forgiveness from Stanford University. Dr. Luskin teaches veterans of all generations the power of forgiving and what it meant to forgive oneself or someone else. In a very clear manner Dr. Luskin teaches the veterans that forgiveness isn’t about placing blame on any person or event but taking control of one’s life.
