Often referred to as the military’s secret shame, military sexual trauma (MST) is something that happens too both men and women who serve in our nation’s military.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), 19,000 servicemembers, both women and men, are victims of MST every year.

Even more shocking is that the DoD’s own statistics say that only 13.5% of survivors report the assault.

Men and women often don’t report MST for the same reasons.

The makeup of the military rank structure makes reporting of sexual assault difficult for its victims, as they fear being punished by their own command.

Demand Congress create a new method for reporting sexual assault in the military!
