Thank you Coming Home Project, I had a great opportunity to relax and unwind at an amazing serene Oceanside, CA retreat. Mission San Luis Rey is the largest active California mission, a fantastic location for a retreat. Four days of getting to know over 50 other female combat veterans, and realizing our commonalities. We laughed, we cried and we all shared a little about ourselves. I hope the friends I made during this retreat last for many years to come. The Coming Home Project did an amazing job of hosting this retreat, they know their stuff. Retreats such as this offer veterans the chance to once again be a part of a veteran community.

Retreat for Female Veterans & Service Members

Join us for a weekend of connecting with other female service members and veterans, supporting one another in the journey of returning, renewing mind, body and spirit in a beautiful tranquil setting.
This retreat is for female veterans and active duty personnel who have been deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan since September 11, 2001.
